The OBP here does not mean connecting to the vehicle’s OBD. Both the “Soldering Contacts” and “Memory Directly” methods mentioned above require removing the vehicle’s dashboard. The difference lies in the connection method:
As shown in the image below, “Soldering Contacts” involves soldering the wires to the circuit board contacts.

As shown in the image below, “Memory Directly” involves desoldering the chip and then reconnecting it to the Yanhua OBP adapter.
