I’m doing a mileage adjustment on my 2008 Volvo XC70, can anyone help with cluster synchronizer or other mileage modification options? I did Xtool, but after launch the mileage returns. I removed the battery overnight, did synchronization in Xtool, nothing helped. I’m reading Flash from a 9S12-256 cluster. Any suggestions?
Solution:
Yes, just need to edit the flash to disable syncro then edit mileage in eeprom read. Mileage is eeprom section of mcu not flash.
Or you can use OBDSTAR Odo Master, which will not disable synchronization and can read and write normally.
